This coming weekend is going to be a busy one. For anyone in the Tri-State Area, I will be participating in a group show this coming Friday, February 6th, at Like the Spice Gallery in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. I'll have 2 pieces hanging and another 2 ready to show in the office should anyone be curious. I will be there to answer questions and just generally have a good time so if you have ever wanted to hang out, see my stuff, have a drink and be merry, now's a good time to do it! Information about the Gallery and the show is here: [link] and here: [link]

In other news, I will also be at the NY Comic Con this Saturday, February 7th to peddle my new book Democracy For Beginners. If you are in town for the convention and want to get a sneak peak at the book, or even pick one up, just swing by the For Beginners booth. You might even catch me there too! Information about the book is here: [link] and here: [link]

I hope some of you are able to make it out. If so, let me know!

Cheers!

That's so awesome! Good Luck with both...someday I'm going to HAVE to visit NYC and when i'm there I'm gonna plan to see your work in person. :)

ps. I would totally volunteer to model, but I live way down here in North Carolina. A hefty drive away from NYC. D:

Thanks Mo, I hope one day we get to meet. If and when you get up here, know that you have a place to stay. I'd love to get your thoughts on my work and of course, I'd be honored to have you as a model. In exchange i could show you all around the city, introduce you to the best pizza in the world (seriously, I know where they make it) and take you around all the galleries. I think you'd really really dig it here.

I'll keep you posted as to what happens this weekend. Cross your fingers and I might sell something!

That would be fantastic! I'd probably turn into a giddy little girl. It would be great to have a 'tour guide' so i don't get my ass lost, haha. I KNOW I would love it there. : D

+I'll cross my fingers, toes and eyes!

Lol, well if you ever make it up here be sure to let me know! It's easy to get lost in the "big bad city" so a native tour guide is highly recommended, lol.

I'll send you a note to let you know how this weekend goes. Keep those toes crossed!

I definitely will. My mom lives in Canada now so there's a good chance I'll make it to NYC sometimes soon(ish). I'm used to the city atmosphere(meaning, i know not to keep my wallet in my back pocket and don't set your purse down.) but NYC is much different than LA.

awesome, i can't wait to hear about it!

Oh yeah - New York are sooo different. I've been to LA many many times and while it's a nice place to visit... you know how it goes. I  NY
