My solo show at Like the Spice is opening in a month. I'm furiously working in the studio to make up for lost time, trying to get the last few paintings out the door to the framers. Not getting much sleep. Painting like a mad man. Social and family life is in the dumps. But you know, it will all be worth it in the end so until then, I'm keeping my head down and pushing on.
If any of you try to visit my website between now and then you will notice that it directs you to my blog. As is the case every few years, I'm currently in the process of a redesign that I plan on launching in time for my show. I'm pretty excited for the new site as it will alter it's functionality and content. Until then, keep up to date on my studio madness on my blog or Google+ or Facebook. Will I make it? Check out my progress and judge for yourselves!
PS: Look for a bunch of new paintings to be posted here in September.
PPS: If anyone is interested in getting inside my head right now, here is a link to a mix cd I've been listening to everyday in the studio:

and u drink coffee - now all is clear to me... u must be up all night...
do have a girlfriend she couldnt live without coffee herself.
keep on rocking - pressing the thumbs for the show and all painting to be finished right in time.
And yes, my working play list is not what most would expect. watercolor is such a slow medium and my work is so large that to compensate I list to fast and heavy music (because I work at the pace fo the music I'm listening to). It's always a dance party in my studio! Want to come join?
and i will dance with the coffee around your brushes in your studio...i might paint my own artworks with coffee on canvas... i think this drinks color is the best for the skin of nude studies.
